Hello and welcome! I work as a doula; providing birth support and photography for families in and around Boulder County, Colorado. About Amy
Hi! I'm Amy (she/her). My background is in Human Development and Early Childhood Education. I have worked as a nursing assistant in memory care, as a nanny, and as a teacher before becoming a doula.
I started my training and education surrounding birth support in fall of 2019 with DONA. I have an immense respect for pregnant and birthing people, and it is my deep privilege to hold space for birthers and their partners. I love helping people.
When I’m not learning about the mind blowing world of birth, I also love reading, snow cones, geeking out on musical theater and books, dance, walks outside, and vegan baking! I adore spending time with my wonderful child, who lights up my days. Bringing them into this world was the most intense, magical, and empowering thing I have experienced as a human. I want to help other birthing people and their partners feel prepared, supported, and empowered during this incredible life changing time.
